Hello Ed...the challenge with any "investment" in Barbados, is it's extreme desirability already. Unless you are a developer in the Caribbean, the investment is in a lifestyle for a second or third home. Then it is just based on where is your favorite spot in the Caribbean. If you are buying property in Barbados you may want to stick to the Sandy Lane side of the island. That would be my pick. But, it is also the most expensive are of Barbados. Sandy Lane Resort is where Tiger Woods had his wedding.

Hi Jim, thanks for replying. I have yet to visit St. Lucia, St. Kitts/St. Nevis and the BVI. May be one day!

I was just wondering where in Barbados you think would be best for property investment?

This is a nice blog. I agree that fractional ownership is certainly a very good way to own a purchese a property. However, if you prefer to have a more private holiday, then this may be isn't for you. The Dominican Republic is such a beautiful country and is well worth the investment if you can afford it.
