I am right now in the process of buying an apartment in the Dominican Rep. It is being advertised by Harlequin with 100% financing, but this is the first time I am hearing about a fractional ownership. I know that I will have 30 day usage for 30 days for 2 years and 50/50 split with management for 5 years afterwards, but why is it fractional? I am the owner afterwards. Isn't it?
