Thank you for your question. I am familiar with the Dolphin Cove project and their request to reduce the project’s scope. My point of view is that there is so much behind the scenes stuff that it may take quite some time before anything will be built. If I found out different information, I will let you know. I see in the local paper that Dolphin Cove has requested a modification to their major CZM permit requesting reduction of the project scope. Do you have contact with the owner or developer as I am interested in the possibility of purchasing a condo in the VI

No, it was never approved. The environmental impact was not acceptable.

Your comment caused me to review my response to the inquiry about the Dolphin Cove project mentioned on my blog site. It may not be four years, but it was a misprint that it would be completed in the Spring of 2008. The projected completion date is 2009. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Completion in the Spring of 2008? Add approximately 4 years onto that estimate. That would be more realistic.

The pricing is still to be determined, but it appears that the townhomes will be in the $800,000+ range and the villas will be from $1.7 million to over $2 million.
