Jim,
I just thought it would be worth mentioning that the property to the south of The Waterford, including all the residential lots around the golf course, has been bought by the group that owns the Ritz Carltion- our neighbor - for about $85 million US. The plans will include a signature 18 hole campionship golf course and home sites and residences in the multi millions. The area that The Waterford is located is surrounded by exclusive homes, 5 star hotels and the only 18 hole championship golf course in Grand Cayman.
Its exciting to see how its all unfolding but, what I like the msot is the “low density” exclusive approach to the property. Peaceful and Elegant!

Some very big news is on the way!
Over the next weeks we are going to be announcing the name of a Luxury, Five Star brand at The Waterford in Grand Cayman. Its been something we have been working on for almost 2 years. Obviously, being part of a major International Hotel group at this level will guarantee the highest of quality and services for our hotel guests and owners.
Your site will be one of the first places we release the information.

Its exciting with whats happening on site, we have started construction and we have about 25% of the inventory pre-sold.
As far as the Island goes,
they are playing the Caribbean Amatuer Golf Championship on the Golf course next to our property this week. The course hase never looked better and there is some great talent from the Caribbean region here.

I also just heard today that Delta is adding a second flight each day from Atlanta. Our airlift is stronger than its ever been with easy connections and direct flights from several major cities and hubs.

This morning already brings new and exciting news. The Waterford Private Residence Club has just affiliated with The Registry Collection.
Owners of the Waterford will now be able to, not only enjoy everything Cayman has to offer on a regular basis but also, take advantage of summer trips to Tuscany and Ski Vacation in Colorado. This exchange network includes dozens of exclusive Private Residence Clubs around the world with many more to come.

The affiliation has been approved and is official as of TODAY!

Just noticed your blog on this website. We were just in the Caymans and checked out the Waterford and the 2nd phase of the Grand Caymanian. We are seriously considering investing in this product. I love the Caymans and feel as though it would be a great investment for our future. Debra showed us around when we were there and the plans and the Resort are phenominal. I didn’t want to leave. As promised I wanted to provide you with some great news on our Cayman Island properties.
The Waterford Private Residence Club and The Grand Caymanian Resort have both officially become part of the Wyndham International Resort family.

This is really big news for us and something we have been working on for a long time. We are very proud to be part of Wyndham Worldwide here in the Cayman Islands.
